Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

Pets are accepted on the understanding that they are always kept under control and exercised off the premises. They should be kept out of bedrooms and off the furniture and they must never be left in the property unattended.

Higher Barn is a superb, stone-built property resting in Aughton, close to Hornby. It hosts three ground-floor bedrooms, comprising of a double bedroom with en-suite shower, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, together sleeping up to six people. On the ground floor, there is also a bathroom with a shower over bath, basin and WC, as well as a utility cupboard. Upstairs, you will find an open-plan living room with kitchen, sitting area and dining area. Outside, there is a patio area, a garden area with outdoor furniture and off-road parking. Higher Barn is an excellent property for a family getaway to the area.
