Ample off-road parking available. Bike and small boat storage available. Shared 5-acres of ground with owners, with lakeside decking area, furniture and gas barbecue. Additional private patio area with furniture, gas barbecue and chiminea. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 2.5 miles, restaurant and bus stop 5 minutes walk. Private lake access for launching a boat or dinghy. Fishing available on site, own license required. Cot and high chair available on request. Note: Infants and babes in arms only.
All prices are inclusive of the booking fee.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.

"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

The property owner has advised that this property accepts visitors with pets.

Pets are accepted on the understanding that they are always kept under control and exercised off the premises. They should be kept out of bedrooms and off the furniture and they must never be left in the property unattended.

Please remember to include all the pets that will be accompanying you at the time of booking so that the property owner is expecting you and your pet.

Where there is a charge for taking your pet, this will be made clear on the property owners' website, and at the time of booking.

Waterhead Cottage is a superb, detached cottage boasting a lovely position in the heart of the Lake District, between the towns of Ambleside and Windermere. It plays host to a king-size double bedroom (zip/link can be twins on request) with en-suite bathroom, sleeping two people altogether. There is also an open-plan living room with kitchen, dining area and sitting area, while the exterior boasts lockable bike storage, off-road parking for one car a private patio area adjacent to property with chimnea, garden furniture and gas barbecue and 5-acre grounds shared with owner's, offering another gas barbecue and picnic bench. Waterhead Cottage is a wonderful property to be enjoyed the year-round.
