Known locally as the Back of Skiddaw this beautiful part of England offers easy access to the imposing mountain of Skiddaw (8 miles) and its much-loved neighbour Blencathra (13 miles). Set off from your doorstep with walking boots or bikes in tow discovering the nearby hill of Binsey just 3 miles away and offering far-reaching views across the Bassenthwaite Lake close by (7 miles). Those hoping to conserve their energy will no doubt be eager to explore the village of Ireby itself a tranquil spot with a helping of welcoming local pubs as well as venturing along to the nearby villages of Uldale (1.5 miles) and Caldbeck (6 miles). Perched on the end of a rural street this end terrace house assures peace and quiet throughout your stay. Step inside and first discover a handy utility room with a washing machine and tumble dryer no doubt an essential for guests with dogs. Off this room you'll find a ground-floor WC with a shower. From the utility room step into the open-plan kitchen a bright and cheerful space for preparing meals or enjoying a spot of breakfast. The kitchen has been fitted with a fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher as well as two ovens and hobs for feeding the masses. Also on the ground floor is the open-plan lounge-come-dining room. Boasting a large circular dining table for enjoying meals together and plenty of comfortable sofas this room is the place to be as you unwind on an evening. Throw some logs on the wood burner and switch on the TV for undisturbed entertainment. When day turns to night the first-floor beckons with three delightful bedrooms. All of which feature stylish decor these bedrooms consist of a master king-size spacious double and snug twin bedroom for all to rest. Completing the property is a modern family bathroom with WC shower and luxury claw-foot bath for soaking ailing muscles. To the rear of the property you'll find a generous garden that's fully enclosed. Head out via French doors in the lounge and enjoy the patio and lawn space. This garden does have a right of access for neighbours so please be aware of that when letting dogs play outside. Ample street parking is available.
