Just 3 miles from the banks of Ullswater lake and with the Lake District's many mountainous regions close by this property offers the ideal base for those hoping to explore the great outdoors. Flock to Ullswater for wild swimming boating or water sports or perhaps just embrace a calming walk with your dog. Be sure to wander past the Aira Force Waterfall (2.5 miles) truly a sight to behold. Simply set off from your doorstep to hike or bike across the nearby fells always ensuring to stop by a local pub on the way home. Or for more options in dining and drinking the local town of Keswick is well worth the short drive (11.5 miles). Surrounded by mature gardens and with climbing plants clinging to the facade head inside and find plenty of spacious rooms with traditional elements and decor maintained. Leave muddy boots in the porch and venture into the dining room a grand area with space for all to dine together. Carry on through to the farmhouse kitchen which also features a breakfast table perfect for keeping the designated cook company. Here you'll find a traditional AGA electric oven and hob fridge microwave and dishwasher. Further along on the ground floor is a versatile utility room with a large freezer washing machine and tumble dryer along with a downstairs WC. Finally the ground floor presents three relaxing rooms that are perfect for unwinding. The first is a sunny garden room with a sofa for taking in the views and the second is a traditional sitting room with a wood burner and an abundance of books to choose from. Completing this floor is a traditional lounge with TV/DVD a second wood burner and a selection of DVDs to browse. Discover all four bedrooms upstairs on the first floor. Each of these bedrooms features an en-suite bathroom with WC and shower offering you an added touch of privacy throughout your stay. Two bedrooms have been made up as double rooms there is also a four poster double room plus a bunk bed room with an additional single bed. For the adults outdoor seating ensures that al fresco drinks or dining are on the cards for all.
