This property enjoys a quiet location down a quiet lane just a short distance from the village of Hawkshead which is popular with visitors thanks to its Beatrix Potter Gallery cosy pubs and cobbled streets. There are plentiful enjoyable walks in the area around the edge of Lake Windermere in Grizedale Forest and around the attractive lake at Tarn Hows but for those who want to try more challenging pursuits the mountains are only a short drive away. Entering this cottage guests ae able to leave coats and shoes in the entrance hall before going through to the homely lounge/diner with its sofas chairs views over the garden TV and DVD. The open fire is a lovely focal point for this room. The dining area is behind the main seating area of this room and has a fold-out table ensuring that there is plenty of space when meals are not being eaten. The light and airy kitchen has a breakfast table perfect for informal meals and is equipped with an oven hob fridge/freezer and microwave whilst the washing machine and freezer are located in a separate utility room which doubles as a handy boot room. Two of the bedrooms are located on the ground floor: a double and a single room as is the shower room with shower and WC. There is also a ground-floor cloakroom with WC. Upstairs there are three more bedrooms one of which is a double as well as a twin and another single room. There is also the main bathroom with shower upstairs. Outside the beautiful spacious garden to the rear of the property is accessed via the utility room and offers a large lawn area with attractive shrubs and trees whilst to the front of the property there is a gated driveway.
