Grizebeck is ideally located for escaping hustle and bustle yet within easy reach of many attractions. Explore the quieter footpaths and hills nearby before visiting the hamlet's 300-year-old coaching inn for a well-deserved meal. Discover the history of the Furness Peninsula at Dalton Castle and Furness Abbey both within 10 miles or spend a day exploring the nature reserves on Walney Island 13.5 miles away spotting birds and grey seals depending on the timing of your visit. Ulverston 6 miles is a bustling market town with a wealth of independent shops and cafes whilst Broughton-in-Furness 3 miles boasts several pubs two cafes and a couple of village shops. At 18 miles away the stunning valleys of Eskdale and Wasdale provide hours of fell walking or head to Coniston Water and lake Windermere for a day by or on the water. With an open-plan living space this cottage has been designed with easy living in mind. In the kitchen there is an electric oven and gas hob fridge freezer washing machine and dishwasher. Dine at the breakfast bar before relaxing on the comfy sofa to watch a film. Patio doors open to the outside allowing light and fresh air to flow in when the weather is warm and if it's chilly you still get to enjoy the view. Upstairs the double bedroom is wonderfully light with plenty of storage. With two picture windows and two skylights wake to the sunlight pouring in. The sofa under the Velux window is the perfect spot to escape with a good book whilst the stylish bathroom contains a rainfall-effect shower over the bath. Head outside from the living space to find a bistro table and chairs in the rear patio garden. Relax and unwind in the private Lazy spa hot tub soaking up the lovely countryside views. The owners of the cottage also have a field at the end of their garden whih guests would be welcome to use. Need to know: 1 double bedroom. 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and WC.
