Overview
Esthwaite Water is one of the region's quieter lakes situated between Lake Windermere and Coniston Water. Plenty of scenic walks to suit all abilities and tastes can be enjoyed locally whilst the nearby Grizedale Forest has a fantastic visitor centre with cycle routes a sculpture trail cafe children's play area and a Go-Ape high ropes adventure complete with thrilling zip wire. Approaching this property via the sweeping driveway guests will catch their first glimpses of the magnificent country house in which the accommodation is located. On entering the apartment guests will find the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its comfortable seating Smart TV electric fire CD and upholstered window seat from where they can enjoy the stunning views over the lake towards the mountains. The kitchen area to the rear of the space is equipped with an oven hob fridge/freezer microwave and dishwasher. There are two bedrooms; one with a super king-size bed which can be split to create two singles upon request. and one twin bedroom which offers access to a small balcony with seating perfect for guests to enjoy the views perhaps with a glass of wine in the evening. Both of the bedrooms benefit from en-suite facilities one with shower-over- bath and WC the other houses a shower and WC. Outside guests are free to make full use of the stunning 40 acres of gardens and grounds including the children's play area with swings climbing frame and outdoor table tennis. There is private lake side access. Need to know: 2 bedrooms: 1 twin with balcony and 1 with a super king size bed (which can be split to create two singles upon request). 2 en suites: 1 with shower over bath and WC, the other with shower and WC. Smart TV. Oven, hob, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, and microwave. Laundry facilities onsite. 40 acres of shared grounds. Lake access. Pitch and putt golf. Children's playground.
