Overview

This wonderful property is located in the peaceful hamlet of Haile on the West Coast of Cumbria near the popular St Bees (5 miles) Ennerdale Valley (10 miles) and Wasdale Valley (10 miles). There are 7 miles of unspoiled beach and endless sand dunes waiting to be explored at St Bee's Beach. Walking opportunities abound; England's highest mountain Scafell Pike is nearby (13 miles) so pack those walking boots and enjoy some breathtaking scenery. Keswick and Coniston are within driving distance too (30 miles). A great family day out can also be had at Muncaster Castle (11 miles) or on the beautiful Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway (10.5 miles). Entering the property you immediately find yourself in the hallway featuring the original bar dating back to 1826 when it was the local village pub - a great space to gather all together. Leading off the hallway is the hub of the house the large lounge where comfortable sofas are set around a wood burner-style gas fire and Smart TV. Along the hall is the dining room with a glass table and chairs leading to the beautifully refurbished kitchen with everything you need to prepare some home-cooked food. Next head up to the first floor where you will find the large master bedroom with a king-size bed and lovely views of fields. Often you can spot sheep cows and in springtime playful lambs. Adjoining this is the games room ideal for keeping both children and adults alike entertained on a rainy day! In the main bathroom you will find a traditional roll-top bath with a handheld shower and WC and off the games room a separate shower room. Further along the landing is the second bedroom with a double bed and more views of the fields followed by a twin room overlooking the garden. Out the back door up a few steps there is a lawned garden area with lovely views and seating to enjoy great for your four-legged friends or children to run around. The peaceful hamlet of Haile is a perfect place for taking walks right from the front door and the quiet country lanes also provide longer walks to several nearby dog-friendly pubs for a tasty meal.
