Overview
Hawkshead is a popular Lakeland village with connections to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. The village pubs make great spots to enjoy a long lunch or romantic evening meal. Of course the jewel of the region is the stunning landscape where walking and hiking is a must amongst many other activities like mountain bike riding. Lake Windermere is just two miles from the village which only adds to the pull of the area. Enter into this beautiful property first into the kitchen which is large in size and is equipped for the best of chefs with an electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Leading from here down a step to the lounge/diner spacious with a beamed ceiling large comfy sofa's surround the warming coal wood burner and the TV/DVD/DAB radio/Bluetooth speaker. The dining area comfortably seats six and is a great place to catch up after a day exploring all the area has to offer. Heading up the stairs to the first floor on the left you will find the shower room with electric shower and WC. Completing the property are the bedrooms a twin a double (restricted head height due to being in the eaves of the property) and a king-size with TV. Heading outside from the lounge area there is a large garden with a beautiful patio area perfect for al fresco dining on those warm summer evenings perfect to admire the stunning countryside views. There is off-road parking for two cars. Need to know: 3 Bedrooms 1 king size, 1 double and 1 twin. 1 Shower room with electric shower and WC.
