Perched on a gentle rise overlooking Esthwaite Water this property enjoys wide panoramic views of the lake and beautiful surrounding countryside. Only half a mile south of Hawkshead you are in the perfect location for easy access to excellent village shops pubs and restaurants while also benefiting from a peaceful and relaxing spot where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery and wildlife. Windermere and Ambleside are just a short drive from the property and are great places to enjoy browsing the shops and perhaps stocking up on picnic supplies before hiring a boat on the water. Or hop on board one of the leisure cruises which run up and down Windermere at a relaxing pace. Coniston only a short drive away is known for its rich history and the interesting Ruskin Museum which takes visitors on a journey through the village's past. A little closer to your retreat you can visit family attractions at the famous home of Beatrix Potter go fishing on Esthwaite Water or enjoy the forest paths and bike trails at Grizedale making the location enjoyable for couples and families alike. Entering into the lounge area which has a comfy sofa and chairs surrounding the wood burner there's a satellite TV and a Free WiFi music system; perfect for relaxing at any time of the year. Walk through into the conservatory with its panoramic views across the lake and comfy chairs to enjoy all times of the day. The contemporary open-plan kitchen and dining area has an electric and gas range cooker coffee pod machine microwave dishwasher and fridge/freezer and an oak dining table and chairs. A washer/dryer can be found in a separate utility room perfect for storing outdoor gear after cycling or walking on the fells. The master bedroom has a super-king-size zip-and-link bed (which can be made into a twin on request) and has an en-suite shower and WC and the second bedroom is a double with both bedrooms enjoying splendid countryside views. The main bathroom with a shower over the bath is located directly opposite the double room. Outside you will find a patio area with seating to enjoy some al fresco dining. There is a lawned garden area with seating for you to relax; a great spot to catch some sun or the stunning sunsets which Fell Foot enjoys. There is also a garage with ample room for the storage of bikes.
