Head 4 miles to the heart of Keswick and board a boat across Derwentwater hire a canoe and do the hard work yourself or take it easy and visit one of many delicious restaurants for a treat. There are also some great places to spend time on rainy days in Keswick including The Puzzling Place The Pencil Museum and the cinema all of which are within 4.5 miles of home. A 3.5-mile journey will take you into the heart of the Whinlatter Forest Park where you can hire and ride bikes along the many tracks and trails whilst keeping your eyes peeled for osprey. Access via the rear door where there is a handy large porch great for all your muddy boats and leads. Walk through to the bright kitchen/diner which has fiews to Skiddaw where you can find a double oven and ceramic hobs a slimline dishwasher microwave and a built-in fridge/freezer. Prepare a feast before plating up at the table and switching on the speaker to listen to music whilst you dine. From the hallway make your way into the lounge where you can sit back and relax. Stay warm by the open fire and enjoy evenings in front of the Smart TV. Large windows flood the space with light and offer spectacular views of the fells.
