This well-appointed property offers a fabulous base to explore the North Lakes being less than 2 miles from Ullswater and 10 miles from Thirlmere. Walkers will find Little Mell less than 2 miles away Hellvelyn and Place Fell within 7 miles. Glenridding is just 4 miles away enjoy a pub lunch and then catch the boat to Pooley Bridge; you can then walk to Howtown which is just over 2 miles distant. This was one of Wordsworth's favourite walks and offers views of Ullswater and Helvellyn. Enjoy a day at Dalemain Mansion and Historic Gardens (7 miles) or why not visit Rookery House Activity Centre (3 miles) offering a huge selection of activities including go-karting and paintballing. As you enter the property into the hallway to your left you will find the bright cosy lounge offering views across the garden. Kick back in the evening and relax watch a good movie on the Smart TV or for the more competitive amongst the group play a game on the Xbox. In the winter curl up in front of the glowing wood burner. Across the hallway you will find the kitchen it has everything you need to enjoy a family dinner together including a range-style electric oven and hob dishwasher coffee machine and fridge/freezer. The feature island offers additional space to prepare lunch and evening meals. There is a dining area within the kitchen for you to catch up as a family over dinner or make plans for the day ahead while enjoying breakfast. Off the kitchen area there is a handy utility room with a Belfast sink microwave washing machine and tumble dryer; there is also a storage area for sports equipment and bikes. Head back into the hallway where you will find a pretty twin bedroom with views over the garden and wall-mounted Smart TV. There is a shower room next door which features a shower and WC. Head up the stairs from the hall to the first floor you will find a further three bedrooms 2 king-size and 1 twin all of which have wall-mounted Smart TVs and lovely garden views. There is a second bathroom on the first floor which features a bath a separate shower and WC. A delightful aspect of this property is the large enclosed lawned garden with seating. It is a real suntrap and offers a great place to sit and listen to the birds with a coffee or star gaze in the evenings. There is private parking for up to 6 cars to the rear of the property which is accessed via several steps through the garden.
