This property lies just 2.5 miles from the seafront town of Whitehaven a bustling area offering fascinating museums and a pretty Marina. Nearby you'll find the St. Bees Heritage Coast (6 miles) a beautiful area with cliff top walking routes as well as the starting point for the famous Coast to Coast walk (7 miles). Naturally it d be criminal to visit the area without taking in the sheer beauty of the Lake District National Park. Located just 6 miles from home head into the area to explore the fabulous mountains including High Stile (16 miles) Grasmoor (13 miles) and the almighty Scafell Pike (24.5 miles). Offering a truly unique stay this converted 17th century barn pairs plenty of traditional design elements with a bright and cheerful décor the perfect home from home. Step inside to find a utility room on the ground floor a handy space with washing machine sink and freezer that's perfect for leaving muddy boots or drying off wet fur. From here you can head upstairs to the open-plan living space which is flooded with light thanks to large skylights. Originally a hay loft this building benefits from high vaulted ceilings and offers a true sense of space. To one side you'll find a lounge with TV/DVD and a warming wood burner perfect for cosy nights in together. To the other side is a contemporary studio style kitchen with oven hob fridge and microwave along with a breakfast bar and plenty of worktop space. Finally a dining table for four completes this versatile room. Two bedrooms can be located on the lower ground floor of the property down the stairs from the initial utility room. The first of these is a sunny double bedroom with benefits from French doors leading out onto the patio and a TV whilst a second bedroom has twin beds but can be made as a King on request.
