Situated on a farm that's been owned and run by the same family since 1954 this romantic hideaway is set just over a mile from Patterdale village with its selection of country pubs. This area is a great base for visiting the Northern Lakes and Fells and there are some great walks and bike routes to explore from the door. Walk to Ullswater and take a trip on one of the steamers or visit the beautiful Aira Force waterfalls. Enjoy paddleboarding or book horse trekking or for something a bit different why not go alpaca walking? This pretty well-equipped shepherd's hut offers a great open-plan space with a raised double bed wall-mounted Smart TV dining area and French doors looking out over the fells. The cute bijou kitchen area is perfectly equipped for rustling up a nice breakfast or romantic dinner with a Belfast sink microwave two-ring hob and fridge/freezer. There is a shower room and WC off the main living space. The design and layout of this shepherd's hut offers you a fabulous romantic getaway surrounded by beautiful countryside and a friendly flock! Heading outside you will find a private seating area and hot tub to the front of the property overlooking the fells which is just the place for reading a good book or enjoying dinner cooked on the BBQ then followed by an evening in front of the fire pit. There is private parking for one car. Just over a mile away in Patterdale you will find local pubs and restaurants. Need to know: 1 bedroom 1 double bed. 1 shower room with WC.
