This property is located just a short walk from the north-east shore of Coniston Water in the picturesque Lake District. It offers the perfect base for exploring the area and is great for those who want to enjoy scenic walks as well as boat trips and watersports on the lake. Lying on the opposite side of the lake to Coniston village it is nevertheless only 1.5 miles from the village centre where visitors will find several shops and a choice of pubs as well as Coniston Boating Centre from where a range of craft can be hired including motor boats sailing boats canoes and paddleboards. Just next to the boating centre is the departure point for the lovingly restored Victorian steamers which take visitors on leisurely cruises around the lake. On arrival at this semi-detached barn conversion property the first room that guests come to is an elegant dining room with a large dining table and attractive dresser with beautiful views to the lake. From here stairs lead down to the lounge which has been thoughtfully furnished with a wood burner comfortable seating coffee table and Smart TV. Returning back up the steps guests will find a door off the dining room which leads through to the kitchen where there is all that guests will need including an oven hob microwave American-style fridge/freezer dishwasher and Nespresso pod coffee machine. The washing machine and tumble dryer can be found in a separate laundry room downstairs. The master king-sized double bedroom is located off the dining room a wonderfully spacious room with large built-in wardrobes and views over the lake there is an en-suite bathroom with a bath separate shower and WC. The remaining four bedrooms are situated on the lower-ground floor the first of which is another super king-sized double whilst there is also a twin room with large single beds and two more single rooms. There is a bathroom on the same floor as these bedrooms which offers a bath separate shower and WC. In addition to this there are also two separate WCs one on this floor and one on the upper floor off the dining room. Across the driveway from the cottage is a games room which has a pool table as well as a lovely seating area great for playing board games and a small kitchenette with fridge. Doors from the games room open out onto the property's attractive patio for which there is garden furniture provided making it a fantastic place to enjoy the beautiful view to Coniston Water. There is parking provided for four cars. Need to know: 5 bedrooms 2 super king sized, 1 twin (with large single beds), and 2 singles. Bathroom with bath, separate shower, and WC. En suite bathroom with bath, shower, and WC. 3 separate WCs (one off the games room). Smart TV in lounge. Wood burner logs are available to purchase locally.
