Overview
Mill Cottage is a delightful, stone-built, semi-detached cottage set on the Graythwaite Estate in the Lake District National Park. With two bedrooms including one king-size double and one twin, the cottage can sleep four people. There's also a bathroom, a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with gas fire. Outside, there is a garden with patio area and views stretching across the river to Lake Windermere as well as off road parking for three cars plus 5000 acres of estate grounds to wander. With wonderful walks from the doorstep and a host of excellent on-site facilities including a fishing lake, swimming pool and table tennis room, Mill Cottage offers a great base for your getaway.

Gas central heating (underfloor in bathroom) with gas fire. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Off-road parking for 3 cars. Garden with patio, furniture and views over river towards Lake Windermere. Shared use of estate grounds and facilities 3 miles away inc. indoor heated swimming pool (Please bring swim towels, as the towels provided are only for use in the property), table tennis room (please bring your own racquets and balls). Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 4.3 miles, pubs 1.5 miles. Water from private supply, fed from freshwater lake. To avoid disappointment, we recommend booking Graythwaite Adventure X in advance. Graythwaite fishery is free for all guests and equipment can be hired locally, a small fee is applicable to keep your catch, rod fishing license required. Mobile phone signal may be limited due to the location of the property. Please Note: The adjoining mill is disused and should not be entered. Please Note: Although garden is fenced, please ensure children are supervised at all times due to proximity of river. Please Note: An estate tenant resides in the building next door. Please Note: This property is accessed via a 100 metre woodland track. Please note that we can’t accept check in on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Years Day
