Situated in the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale food lovers will be spoilt for choice as there are delis a weekly market and a choice of eateries all nestled in the town's cobbled streets and squares. The town is also rich in history. The surrounding area is tranquil picturesque and varied with walking/cycling trails that include fells dales rivers woods and more; some people prefer it as a quieter alternative to the busier Lake District. As the place where Cumbria Lancashire and Yorkshire meet you can easily explore all three counties from this cottage. Kendal gateway to the Lake District is within 14 miles and the largest lake Windermere is just beyond that and offers lakeside walks boat trips and other water-based activities. Light and spacious this pretty cottage offers guests a warm welcome and is deceptively spacious. Although entered via a couple of steps all the accommodation is on one level ensuring easy access for everyone. The lounge/diner is a bright room with French doors allowing light to flood in. There is plenty of comfy seating so you can all settle down and relax at the end of a busy day whilst a small dining seats three. The modest kitchen has everything you'll need to cater for everyone's needs including an oven hob and dishwasher and is well-lit with views of the garden. There are two charming bedrooms: a king with access out to the patio and a double room. Completing the accommodation is a contemporary family bathroom with a large bath separate corner shower and WC. Outside and down a couple of steps there is a relatively spacious patio area with dining furniture for a spot of al fresco dining. It can be accessed via the French doors in the lounge or the double bedroom. There is parking for one car and additional parking can be arranged in advance. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king and 1 double. 1 bathroom with large bath, separate corner shower and WC. Oven, hob, dishwasher & Washing Machine. Welcome pack including tea, coffee and biscuits. Lawned garden to the front and patio area to the rear of the property with furniture. Parking for 1 car 15 yards from property (additional parking available on request). 1 large dog or 2 small dogs welcome dogs must be kept on leads in the surrounding area, outside the private garden. Pub 100 metres. Regret no children or babies under the age of 5 years old.
