Overview
The cottage is located in the pretty village of Pooley Bridge which sits on the River Eamont close to beautiful Ullswater and there are many country pubs serving good food and a variety of drinks nearby. Catch one of the famous steamers in the village and disembark at Aira Force to see the impressive waterfall. Head into Penrith 6 miles away to browse in independent shops and buy fresh produce in the farmers market. Lowther Castle is less than 5 miles away; the castle and gardens are a sight to behold and there is a fabulous adventure playground. Sailing paddleboarding and horse trekking are all available in the local area. Entering this Lakeland property through the pretty porch guests first come to a hallway off from which they will find the cosy and homely lounge. The open fire adds to the atmosphere of this room where there is comfortable seating from which guests may like to watch the TV at the end of a busy day. At the back of the lounge is the dining room with a table and chairs to sit eight people. The kitchen is equipped with an oven hob two fridges freezer microwave and dishwasher whilst the utility room just off from the kitchen is where guests will find a drying area and washing machine. Just before heading upstairs you will find a cloakroom with WC. Upstairs there are three wonderful bedrooms which are all decorated in a pretty cottage style in keeping with the property. The main bedroom is a king-size with a single whilst there is also a twin and a double bedroom. The property's stylish bathroom which is also located on the first floor offers a separate shower and separate bath. Soak in stunning views from the enclosed garden with patio and picnic bench which you can enjoy any time of day for any meal occasion.
