Make your great escape to this one-bedroom holiday home near the Lake District town of Keswick. Ideal for a couple or an individual keen to be close to an array of shops selling local produce and a good choice of restaurants the cottage is just 500 metres from the heart of the lively hub. Stroll less than 0.5 miles to reach the shores of Derwentwater and take a cruise out on the enchanting lake. Disembark at Hawes End to follow the famous 3.5-mile Catbells Walk with its outstanding views. Walk under 2 miles from your base to see the famous Castlerigg Stone Circle. Make trips to Bassenthwaite and Thirlmere lakes both around 4 miles away for waterside walks and wildlife watching. Follow the 11 steps down to the bungalow then climb a couple more to enter and discover a property filled with natural light. Leave your outerwear in the porch then wander on through into the lounge/diner. Take your pick of the comfortable chairs in here then choose yourself something to read or find a film on the TV. Tear yourself away from the view and head through to the kitchen which offers an electric oven and hob microwave fridge with ice compartment and washer/dryer. Serve up at the table next door. At the end of a busy day out head to the inviting double bedroom to settle for the night. The bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. Make the most of the fabulous outside space at this relaxing property. Discover the beautifully maintained garden is split-level with plenty of places accessed by steps to soak up the sunshine or unwind in the shade. Dine out here as you absorb the stunning scenery. The cottage comes with storage space for bicycles and other outdoor equipment and dedicated parking for one car in front of the garage over the road.
