The apartment is situated close to the heart of Keswick within easy reach of a fantastic choice of restaurants pubs cafes bars and independent shops. The town is home to numerous popular attractions including Puzzling Place the Theatre by the Lake the Alhambra Cinema the Derwent Pencil Museum Hope Park and Keswick Adventure Centre with the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle and Keswick Climbing Wall just outside the town. From Keswick you can take a cruise around Derwentwater calling in at Ashness Gate High Brandelhow Lodore and Hawes End so you can explore popular landmarks and attractions including Surprise View Beatrix Potter's house at Hill Top and the Bowder Stone. Local activities include rock climbing hiking mountain biking and ghyll scrambling. After climbing the external stairway up to the fourth floor enter this bright and relaxing apartment to find yourselves in the inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The cosy lounge is an ideal space for snuggling up together in the evening complete with TV DVD and Amazon Fire Stick comfortable seating and a selection of books DVDs and useful maps to help you plan the next day's exploits. The dining table is by the window giving you a pleasant view as you enjoy a favourite meal for two. The kitchen is fully equipped with an electric hob oven microwave/grill toaster washer/dryer and a fridge with a small ice compartment. Exploring further the apartment has a charming bedroom with a king-size bed and plenty of storage space and there's also a stylish bathroom complete with a shower over the bath and a WC. Stepping outside from the main living space a door opens onto a small balcony with a charming terrace. In the warmer months the outdoor furniture is a lovely spot to sit back with a glass of wine and look out over the town and surrounding countryside. Shared bike rails are available on a first-come-first-served basis. Please note that the apartment is reached via 63 steps up an external concrete stairway with a handrail. You will also have a designated parking space in the car park behind the building which is a short walk from the property via the street. Large cars may find it difficult to manoeuvre in the space especially when the car park is full. Need to know: 1 king size bedroom. Additional pull out sofa bed in the lounge (small double). 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC. Electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge with small ice compartment, washer/dryer. Electric heating.
