Ireleth-in-Furness is perched above the Cumbrian coast with spectacular views of sea sand mountains and even the Isle of Man on a clear day. The Furness Peninsula offers a wide range of activities for both families and adults to enjoy. Beach days visits to the zoo and an excellent train service up the coastline or down to Lancaster enhance this beautiful yet easily accessible area. The village has a local shop and petrol station under 0.5 miles away along with an Indian restaurant and many takeaways. There is a larger shop in Askam-in-Furness just down the hill (0.5 miles). The Duddon Estuary is easily accessible on foot from the house under 1 mile along with the railway station for stops up and down the coast. Stunning views of the estuary and its tidal variations are enjoyed from many different aspects of the property alongside views of the Isle of Man. The Lake District National Park is under 15 miles away. This property is accessed by a downstairs front door which leads to the two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the ground floor. There is ample space for coats and boots. The open-plan living area is upstairs and offers a lounge area with the three sofas (one of which can become a sofa bed for two additional guests) and a Smart TV this space is perfect for any point of the day to relax and enjoy the amazing views through the floor-to-ceiling windows. At the opposite end is the dining area with a table and chairs for six. The open-plan kitchen means no-one is left out when it comes to mealtimes and everything is here for cooking up a treat with an electric oven and induction hob microwave freezer/fridge and dishwasher. An amazing patio area with plenty of seating awaits for those evenings of al fresco dining. There is parking for one car. Grounds with seating offer delightful views over the sea. Need to know: 2 double bedrooms plus a double sofa bed in the upstairs lounge. 2 shower rooms with WCs. Sleeps 4 2.
