Overview
Located just off the centre of Keswick dine out cruise Derwentwater and stay entertained without jumping in the car. If little ones are holidaying with you visit Puzzling Place swim in the local pool or enjoy some fresh air and playtime in Fitz Park. Enjoy a family-friendly walk up Catbells (5 miles) or to Castlerigg Stone Circle (2 miles) both of which boast panoramic views to reward your climb. Pay Lodore Falls (3 miles) a visit and climb up to Surprise View. Treat yourselves to a night off and dine out before booking a film at the cinema at the end of your road or watching a show at Theatre by the Lake (0.5 miles). Step inside via the porch and head through into the dining room. Here a table has room for you all to dine together and there are shelves stocked with books on the local area so you can plan your adventures. The lounge is a lovely spot to relax in front of the Smart TV as you stay warm by the wood burner. Sit on the sofa and make use of the docking station to listen to your favourite tunes. Heading through to the stylish kitchen to find all you need to cook a meal. This room is equipped with a built-in fan oven four gas hobs dishwasher and microwave as well as a Nespresso coffee machine. There is a handy utility area beyond the kitchen with a washer/dryer. This leads to a shower room with WC. When it's time to rest your heads climb stairs to the first floor where you will find the three bedrooms. On your way up find another shower room with WC on the landing with contemporary style and a large walk-in shower. Head up to the next landing where the master king-size room has an ornamental fireplace and lots of storage. The double bedroom also has an ornamental fireplace and the final bedroom is a snug twin with views across to Skiddaw. Take a seat at the front of the property and enjoy a morning cup of tea or head to the enclosed patio area to the rear of the cottage. Here there is a picnic bench where you can enjoy a drink and a treat. On street parking can be found near the cottage. Need to know: 3 bedrooms: 1 king size, 1 double, 1 twin. 2 shower rooms. Kitchen with fridge/freezer, built in fan oven, four gas hobs, dishwasher and microwave. Nespresso machine. Utility area with washer/dryer. Wood burner initial fuel supply provided. Smart TV. 2 dogs welcome downstairs only. This property is not suitable for children under 10 years old. Bench at front of property in gravelled area.
