Bowness on Windermere sits on the edge of Lake Windermere and is a great location for exploring the Lakes and enjoy sailing and water sports. The World of Beatrix Potter is less than 200 metres away here the characters from these well-known books are brought to life! Only 3 miles away you will find Brockholes activity centre where you can enjoy mini-golf tree top trampolines zip-lines kayaking and archery. There are hundreds of walks available from your front door and it is a great area for keen cyclists. Just over a mile away you will find Orrest Head an outstanding viewpoint. It was the first summit in Lakeland visited by A. Wainwright author of the famous guidebooks. This property has been designed to ensure you get the best views from the lounge area. The front door takes you up a flight of stairs to the first floor where you will enter the hallway and find the two bedrooms and shower room. There is a spacious double bedroom and a pretty twin while the shower room is across the hallway with a large walk-in shower and WC. Head up the staircase to the second floor where you will find the large and bright open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with access out onto the private balcony. The kitchen is well-equipped with electric oven and hob fridge/freezer and microwave. There is a retro-style round dining table which offers a great space to catch up and make plans for the day ahead. The lounge area has comfortable sofas TV/DVD and electric fire. The private balcony is accessed from the lounge on the second floor and offers stunning views across the fells and Lake Windermere the perfect place for breakfast on a summer's day or a glass of bubbly. There is a large private garage on the ground floor this is ideal for parking up to two cars storing bikes and sports equipment. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin. 1 shower room with shower and WC. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer and microwave. Smart TV. Night storage heaters throughout.
