While staying at this charming cottage located close to the town centre and market square you can explore the Northern Lakes either by foot car or bus. Situated between Derwentwater (0.5 miles) and Bassenthwaite (3.5 miles) there are eight jetties where you can hop on and off the boat to explore. Head to Theatre by the Lake to enjoy a show then visit Crow Park which is opposite you can get 360-degree views of the mountains along with stunning views down the lake towards the exceptionally beautiful Borrowdale valley. Enjoy kayaking canoeing or exploring the magnificent fells. Latrigg is less than 2 miles away and Cat Bells and Skiddaw are within 5 miles. Keswick hosts the annual mountain festival held over three days with world-class sports lots of outdoor activities talks films and live music events which take place beside the lake. Head to Whinlatter Forest and follow the Gruffalo Trail or if you enjoy mountain biking there are some great tracks to explore here. This attractive whitewash terrace cottage with a pretty covered entrance offers an ideal base to explore the market town of Keswick with lakes and fells on your doorstep! Enter through the cosy porch which has storage for coats and shoes and lots of board games ideal to enjoy on an evening or rainy day. In the welcoming lounge with a tiled floor and whitewash beam there is a cosy gas effect wood burner offering instant warmth after a day out exploring. The lounge has comfy seating and a Smart TV with a dining area at the back of the room. The kitchen is off the lounge and is well-equipped overlooking the enclosed courtyard. There is a ground-floor WC with a utility area which leads out onto the courtyard. The first floor is accessed from the staircase which leads up from the lounge. You will find two sophisticated bedrooms that offer relaxing and stylish places to lay your head switch off and relax. To complete the accommodation is a family bathroom with a large walk-in shower and WC. Outside there is an enclosed courtyard with seating offering a great spot to read a good book enjoy a glass of wine or have a coffee on a sunny morning. Although there is no dedicated parking for the property there is a car park less than 500 meters away and there is limited parking to the front of the property allowing you to load/unload. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower and WC, and separate ground floor WC. Gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, integrated fridge, counter top freezer and washing machine/dryer. Smart TV in lounge and TV in twin bedroom. Gas effect wood burner in the lounge.
