This property enjoys a lovely location in the hamlet of Rogerground which is just a short walk away from the traffic-free village of Hawkshead famed for its connections to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. There are plenty of countryside walks available nearby and both Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are within a short drive of the property. Not to be missed is a visit to Claife Heights a purpose-built viewing platform which offers unrivalled views over Lake Windermere. Adventurous types will enjoy a trip to Grizedale Forest where there is a Go-Ape centre with high-ropes and a zip wire. Steps down lead you to this ground-floor apartment offering a relaxing place to stay for two people. The owners live just upstairs but your privacy will always be respected. The lounge/diner is the main living area and offers views over the valley comfortable seating a dining table for two electric fire and TV. The sunny kitchen is well-equipped with an oven hob fridge microwave and washing machine. King-size bedroom which can be made into a twin upon request and benefits from French windows which open straight out onto a private patio area. The bathroom has a walk in shower and WC. Outside the property has its own private patio to the side of the house which is accessed through the patio doors in the bedroom. In addition to this guests have access to the owner's gardens which are mainly set to lawn with a large patio area where there is seating and a BBQ.
