Overview
A traditional stone mid-terrace property set in the centre of the pretty market town of Keswick. Keswick has a great selection of independent shops restaurants and pubs. The annual Mountain Festival which features outstanding sporting events speakers and live music. This is the perfect base to get out and about and explore the Northern Lakes with Derwentwater less than a mile away and Bassenthwaite 4 miles distant. There is a great selection of fells and Wainwrights to tackle in the local area. Whinlatter Forest with its fantastic bike tracks and walks is less than 5 miles away. Or why not walk down to the Theatre by the Lake (1 mile) and enjoy a talk or film? There is also an open-top bus which you can hop on and off and enjoy a day tour around the Lakes at leisure. There are four steps up to the attractive terrace. As you enter the property you will find yourself in the lobby at the bottom of the staircase. To your right you will find the spacious bright and contemporary open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with dual views to the front and rear garden. The lounge has comfy sofas to curl up with a good book or watch a movie on the Smart TV or DVD player. The kitchen is very well equipped with a convenient tiled floor and splashes of colour to brighten up your day! Head up to the first floor where you will find a family bathroom which has been stylishly updated with attention to detail throughout and a fabulous LED mirror. Next door you will find a pretty twin bedroom with garden views this bedroom is spacious and has lots of handy storage as well as a TV with a built-in DVD player. The second bedroom is a tranquil king-size with a Smart TV and a stunning-coloured glass mirror hanging proudly on the wall. At the rear of the property accessed from the kitchen and then via steps you will find the elevated garden with lawn and a gravelled seating area. The garden is a real suntrap and is a great place to relax with a coffee in the morning and listen to the birds. There isoff road parking for one car roadside parking nearby and a several pay car parks in easy walking distance. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 twin. 1 bathroom with shower, and WC. Electric vehicles can be charged at Booths supermarket nearby, CA12 5EA. Pubs, shops, and restaurants within 500 metres. Allocated parking for one car. For additional vehicles there is on street parking nearby and a pay car park opposite the cottage. Number 17 Otley Road is a similar sized cottage on the same street and has the same owners.
