Overview
There are some fabulous walks available from your front door this area is a haven for walking and cycling. There's a network of walking paths available from your front door allowing you to explore the local fells. If you are a more adventurous walker and want to tick off some Wainwrights head into the Lake District National Park which is a short drive away. There is fishing horse-riding and golf in the local area too so there are plenty of activities to fill your stay. Entering the property you will instantly see the character and history of this building there are exposed stone walls and beams. The entrance hall has plenty of space for your coats and boots. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has a cosy wood burner and TV. The kitchen is well equipped with a gas hob and electric oven an under-counter fridge/freezer dishwasher and microwave. Enjoy a romantic meal under the candelabra after a day out exploring. There is a spacious double bedroom with the bathroom opposite there is a shower over the bath and WC. The wildlife garden is the perfect place to sit out on a sunny day or late in the evening and watch the birds rabbits and if you are lucky you might spot a red squirrel. There is ample private parking available to the side of the property. Need to know: 1 double bedroom . 1 bathroom with bath shower over and WC. Gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, under counter fridge/freezer and microwave. TV in lounge. Wood burner with first basket of logs provided. Private garden.
