This apartment enjoys what must be one of the most stunning locations in the Lake District. In an elevated position above Esthwaite Water surrounded by scenic walks and mountain views. The village of Hawkshead is close by famed for its connections to Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth with a range of shops and pubs. Both Lake Windermere and Coniston Water are a short drive away each offering plenty of opportunities to take to the water. Grizedale Forest is only a short distance away where thrill-seeking visitors may like to try the zip wires and high ropes at the Go-Ape centre. This apartment offers ground-floor accommodation for four. The main living space is an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner which offers stunning views over the lake to the woodlands beyond. The owners have thoughtfully provided binoculars so that guests can make the most of the views. There is an electric fire here as well as a TV a DVD and CD. The kitchen area is equipped with an oven hob fridge microwave and dishwasher whilst freezer and laundry facilities are available onsite. The property has two bedrooms: a king-size and a twin are tastefully decorated each with an en-suite. The king-size has an en-suite shower room with WC whilst the twin has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside the property enjoys shared access to the stunning 40 acres of gardens and woodlands. There is private access to Esthwaite Water. Children will love the onsite playground which offers a climbing frame swings and outdoor table tennis and pitch and putt.
