Situated in the centre of the historic city of Carlisle. This apartment offers a fabulous base to explore Cumbria the Lake District and the Scottish Borders. Carlisle is a fascinating city; it has a beautiful cathedral and castle in the city centre. Tullie House Museum and Art Gallery are well worth a visit or the Solway Aviation Museum is just 8 miles away. Eden Rock which is located in the town has one of the biggest and best indoor bouldering walls in the UK. The train station in Carlisle offers a regular direct train service to both Edinburgh and Glasgow why not enjoy a day trip or travel just 10 miles away and you will find yourself in the famous Scottish town of Gretna Green visit the wedding anvil or enjoy a day shopping at the outlet village. Within 50 metres from your front door there are some lovely restaurants pubs cinema and swimming pool. Stylish Victorian townhouse which has been lovingly refurbished to provide contemporary apartments. This suite is accessed via three steps to the front door you will enter the shared hallway and find the apartment located on the third floor in the converted attic it is a real romantic hideaway. Entering the apartment into the private hallway you will find the open plan lounge with beams contemporary high gloss kitchen and dining area. It has stunning views across the roof tops a real Mary Poppins feel! Relax on the sofa while watching a good movie. There is a dining table to enjoy breakfast or a romantic meal for two but you may prefer to head out and enjoy one of the many restaurants on your doorstep. There is a double bedroom with feature beams built in wardrobe and dressing table. The bathroom is next door and is designed with stunning marble floor and walls and includes locally produced toiletries. Although there is no outside space there are some lovely parks within the city where you can enjoy some sunshine on a nice evening.
