This apartment enjoys a stunning location close to the stunning beauty spot of Tarn Hows. There is a circular 1.5-mile walk around the Tarn which is accessible for all including those in wheelchairs. For those looking for a more challenging hike or climb there are plenty of opportunities in the surrounding area including climbs at Dow Crag and Hodge Close Quarry. Of course a trip to the Lakes would be incomplete without taking to the water and with both Coniston Water and Lake Windermere only a few miles from the property visitors will be spoilt for choice with pleasure boat cruises boat canoe and windsurf hire all on offer. This self-contained apartment located on the first floor makes a wonderful retreat for a couple who want to enjoy a quiet break in the Lake District. The main living space comprising of a lounge/diner which enjoys stunning views over the countryside from the two comfortable easy chairs. Glass doors from this room lead out to the balcony which is a new addition to the property for 2017. There is also a Smart TV CD player and an electric fire to keep the room nice and cosy whatever the weather. The kitchen though compact is well-equipped with an oven hob microwave fridge washer/dryer and toasted sandwich maker. The attractive and restful bedroom has a king-size bed with beautiful views to wake up to. The property's bathroom has a shower over the bath and WC. Outside the glass-front balcony which runs along the front of the property has comfortable wicker chairs from which to enjoy the stunning views. There is handy bike storage available for guests use.
