A day at the races can be enjoyed at Cartmel Racecourse which is only 2 miles away. The seaside resort of Grange-over-Sands is 3.5 miles away and is a lovely place to spend the day exploring the attractions on the town's promenade. Other great places to visit are Windermere Hawkshead Coniston or Ulverston. This is a perfect base to explore some of the hidden treasures of the Lake District. Walking into the living area via the bi-fold doors you will instantly feel comfortable. The lounge offers a perfect spot to chill and relax after a day out with the two-seater sofa ideally positioned for you to settle down after a day of exploring. There is a super-king-size bed which can be made into a twin on request along with another sofa and armchair with lovely views towards the sea and another TV ideal for a bedtime movie. Guests can also make use of the shared area of garden offering many spots to sit and relax in seating areas dotted throughout the garden. There is ample on-site parking.
