This property is perfect for those who want to be within walking distance of local amenities in one of the Lake District's most attractive villages. There are plenty of places to eat out and shops and cafes within a short walk. There is plenty to do in the village itself with the Beatrix Potter Gallery and the historic Grammar School where William Wordsworth was once a pupil both being popular attractions for tourists who want to learn more about the region's literary connections. Lake Windermere is just a few miles away where visitors can enjoy boat trips participate in water sports and enjoy scenic walks around the edge of the lake. On entering this former-police station guests will first come to the entrance hall which leads on to the spacious kitchen/diner with its slate floors round dining table and country-style decor. Guests will find everything they need here including an oven hob microwave coffee machine fridge and dishwasher. There is an additional fridge freezer located under the stairs. The property's spacious lounge has large windows comfortable seating and a cosy wood burner as well as TV DVD and hi-fi. Taking the steep stairs to the first floor guests will find two bedrooms: a double room with an en-suite shower room and restful twin room. There is also another shower room on this floor with WC. The third bedroom is located on the second floor and offers a double bed and en-suite shower room with WC. Need to know: 3 bedrooms: 2 doubles and 1 twin. 3 shower rooms, each with WC. TV, DVD, and hi fi. Oven, hob, microwave, coffee machine, fridge, and dishwasher. Additional freezer under stairs. Laundry facilities. Allocated off road parking for 1 car, and parking permit for additional car in village car park. Shops, pub, and restaurant within walking distance.
