Spread out and make yourselves at home in this striking six-bedroom holiday home where up to 12 guests and three happy hounds can relax in comfort. Head out from the tranquil village of Lamplugh to explore the Ennerdale Valley and Loweswater Fells. Walk around beautiful Loweswater itself 3 miles away or hike to Crummock Water 3.5 miles away taking in the spectacular mountain views on the route. Go horse-riding or mountain biking in the area. Drive 7 miles to Cockermouth birthplace of William Wordsworth to shop for delicious local produce or spend the afternoon in Keswick 17 miles away to browse in its independent outlets and perhaps dine out. Enter this beautiful barn conversion to discover its clever upside-down layout. Find the generous reception hall gives access to four of the bedrooms: these include two doubles a twin and a bunk room. There is also a family bathroom with WC hand basin bath and separate shower plus a separate WC and a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer at this level. Venture upstairs to find your splendid lounge/diner with its high vaulted and beamed ceiling. Settle on the sofas in here to watch TV or play a game together. Make your way over to the large table for jolly group meals prepared in the kitchen next door. Equipped with an electric range-style cooker two fridges freezer dishwasher and microwave you will find everything you need here to whip up hearty holiday fare. Also upstairs find a twin room plus a super-king-size room (which can be made into twins upon request) with en-suite shower room with WC and hand basin. The property also has games room with a pool table and table football. Wander through the shared gardens here to your hearts content and discover lots of outdoor seating areas (please note there is a stream running through the shared garden so children must be supervised at all times. ) Find you also have a private garden area for your own use. Cross a bridge over a stream to relax in the secret garden. Parking can be found in front of the garages.
