Two guests and a pair of happy hounds are welcome to stay at the one-bedroom property which takes in far-reaching views across verdant vales. Set out from home to walk or cycle through your surroundings enjoying the tranquillity and spectacular views as you go. Spend time in Whinlatter Forest Park 1.5 miles away with its cycling and mountain bike trails. Go fishing or hire a rowing boat at serene Crummock Water a 6.5-mile drive away; shop and dine out in Keswick 6 miles away and enjoy water sports on Derwentwater while you are there. Make your way into this appealing country cottage to discover it has been beautifully converted to offer a perfect balance of rustic features and contemporary comfort. From the porch wander through into the enticing open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with its vaulted and beamed ceiling stone walls and wooden floor. Fire up the wood burner then bask in its cosy glow as you watch TV or a DVD. Find the modern kitchen area has everything you could require for your stay including an electric oven four-ring induction hob microwave toaster kettle dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Cook up holiday treats in here then enjoy them together at the table by the window. Find stairs from the open-plan heart of the home take you down to a lower ground floor where the bedroom and bathroom are located. The bright double bedroom has a door on to the garden and a dressing room; the bathroom has a bath with rainforest shower above WC and handbasin. A few steps away is an enclosed garden to soak up the scenery and relax out in the fresh air. There is a table and seating here for al fresco dining whenever the weather permits. There is access to cycle storage plus a laundry with washing machine and tumble dryer from outside. Need to know: 1 double bedroom. 1 bathroom.
