If you're dining in visit the twice-weekly market and stock up on local goods. Steeped in history climb the communal stairs to the second floor and head inside. Settle down for a moment in the lounge/diner where you can switch on the TV or enjoy the views in peace. Pop on your favourite programme for a snug night in after dining at the table by the window where you can gaze out over Skiddaw and other fells. When it comes to cooking the kitchen is equipped with an oven hob fridge with icebox microwave dishwasher and washing machine. Head to bed and drift off in the double bedroom before rising and opening the curtains to views of Walla Crag. Freshen up in the bathroom with shower over bath and WC.
