Overview
Grubbings is a spacious, ground floor cottage on the Graythwaite Estate in the Lake District National Park. The property has five bedrooms; two doubles, one of which has an en-suite shower room, and three twins, sleeping ten people. There's also a bathroom and a shower room as well as a kitchen and a living/dining room with woodburning stove. Outside, there is a shared courtyard garden, ample-off road parking and beautiful extensive grounds to explore, as well as use of on-site facilities like the indoor swimming pool, fitness suite and trout fishing lake. Grubbings is a fantastic base for an adventure-filled holiday in the Lake District.

Biomass & electric central heating with woodburning stove. Electric double oven and hob, microwave, American-style fridge/freezer, washing machine/dryer, dishwasher. Smart TV, DVD and WiFi. Shared use of estate facilities inc. indoor heated swimming pool and table tennis room (please bring your own racquets and balls). Please note that logs, kindling, firelighters, and matches are not included in your stay but can be ordered using the Goodeats link in your key collection information. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available. Off road parking for for 10 cars. Shared courtyard with seating, picnic benches and barbecue. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop on-site, pub 3.5 miles. Graythwaite fishery is free for all guests and equipment can be hired locally, a small fee is applicable to keep your catch, rod fishing license required. Please Note: Minimum 3 night stay. Please Note: This property has a £600 Good Housekeeping Bond. The swimming pool can be booked for 45 minute private sessions, All guests can pre-book up to a maximum of 3 swimming slots ( or 2 slots for short stays 2 and 3 nights ) 7 days prior to arrival by contacting [email protected] (Please bring swim towels, as the towels provided are only for use in the property).
