Here footpaths lead to the summit of the Old Man of Coniston giving walkers a panoramic view of the Lake District. A meadow path leads down to the village where there are shops cafes and inns and down by the lake you can hire rowing sailing and little powered boats. Here you will also find an array of shops cafes and pubs in which to browse pause for a cream tea or settle down for a long lunch. Take your group out on the water from here too you can either hire a boat to skipper yourselves or take a tour on an old steamer. Stepping through the door you will instantly see the amazing transformation of this former barn to a cosy cottage. Also there is a separate WC tucked away in the hall. Head on through to the dining room where you can enjoy an evening meal and discuss the day's adventures or even play some games. Head on down the stairs to the lower ground floor where you have the king-size bedroom and two bunk bedrooms. Finally completing this property is the bathroom with bath separate shower and WC. The garden has a patio area and enough room for your four-legged friends to stretch their legs and seating to relax and enjoy the amazing views across the valley and to Coniston Water below. There is parking for two cars and a lockable bike storage area. Please note the property is accessed via a steep single-track lane.
