Head off to this handsome three-storey Lake District home set on the outskirts of the vibrant town of Windermere approximately 1 mile from the shores of the lake. Up to four guests are welcome to stay at the two-bedroom holiday property which has been beautifully finished and makes a great base for exploring the south-eastern Lakes. Enjoy pottering in the town or walk 1 mile into Bowness for more shops and restaurants; to go to the cinema or to take part in water sports. Hire a boat or book a cruise out on Lake Windermere. Visit lively Ambleside 5 miles away and historic Kendal 9 miles away. Enjoy heading out on walks from home and soaking up the spectacular scenery. Step into this delightful cottage to find airy accommodation and everything you will need to ensure you have a comfortable stay. Find the open-plan lounge/diner with its beautiful bay window is a great space in which to relax together. Stoke up the wood burner in here watch TV and head over to the table when it is time to sit down to meals together. The kitchen has also been carefully thought out and features a double oven and electric hob microwave fridge small freezer coffee machine dishwasher and washer/dryer. Whip up treats in here and make yourself a fresh cup of coffee to enjoy out on the patio on warm mornings. Take yourself upstairs to discover a king-size bedroom plus a snug with additional TV on the first floor. The family bathroom with its claw-foot bath rainforest shower WC and handbasin is also at this level. Head up to the floor above to find another sumptuous king-size bedroom that can be arranged as twins upon request. Make the most of the outside courtyard space here on warm days. Relax with a drink or have dinner in the fresh air on summer nights. Find the cottage comes with a permit for one car to park in a nearby car park. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 king size and 1 king size (which can be made up as twins on request). 1 bathroom.
