Located in an elevated position in the stunning Lune Valley with breath-taking views over the Howgills and the Yorkshire Dales. Making this a fantastic base to explore the Yorkshire Dales National Park perfect for walking hiking pony trekking or enjoy fishing on the river Lune. The pretty towns of Kirkby Stephen Appleby Kendal Sedbergh and Penrith are all within touring distance with their excellent range of attractions leisure and shopping facilities. Or visit the Lake District National Park ideal for all outdoor pursuits making this all a fantastic base for your holiday. Enter the luxurious reversed level accommodation into the spacious hall with lovely underfloor heating and ample storage space for all of you outdoor clothing. To your left is the spacious and stylish twin zip-and-link bedroom (which can be made up as a super-king-size on request) with underfloor heating and a lovely en-suite shower room and WC. To your right from the hall you will find the pretty double bedroom also with underfloor heating and en-suite shower room and WC. Heading up the stairs to the first floor you are met with the beautiful open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with wonderful vaulted ceilings with original exposed wooden beams. The lounge area with comfortable sofas is the perfect place to relax after a day out exploring the splendid local area and perhaps enjoy a great movie on the Smart TV. Enjoy romantic or family meals together in the wonderful dining area and admire the magnificent Lune Valley views from the large picture window. Finally completing the accommodation is the well-equipped kitchen area the perfect place to cook up a storm with electric oven and hob microwave fridge/freezer with a very handy dishwasher and washer/dryer. Venture outside to the patio area with seating to enjoy al fresco dining or a lazy evening stargazing perhaps with a nice glass of wine or a good local ale. Or relax and unwind in the hot tub and enjoy the Lune Valley views. There is ample off-road parking available directly outside the cottage. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double and 1 twin zip and link (which can be made up as a super king size on request). 2 en suite showers rooms. Electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Hot tub (towels and dressing gowns provided). Hairdryer available. Underfloor heating on the ground floor/central heating on the first floor. Ample off road parking available. Although garden is enclosed, there are small gaps within the fence a small dog could escape. Welcome pack provided. Shop 3 miles and pub and restaurant 2.5 miles. Smart TV in lounge area. Owner may accept more dogs, please enquire.
