Step out and explore the local area on foot wandering along the coastline to take in the far-reaching estuary views and exploring sandy shores at low tide. The village of Ravenglass is surrounded by historical intrigue discover Muncaster Castle just a short walk away (1.5 miles) or the fascinating Roman Bath House just up the road (0.5 miles). It's impossible to appreciate the local area without a day trip on its hidden gem the Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway. Known locally as La al Ratty this 7-mile railway line begins right here in the fishing village and takes its passengers up into the Eskdale Valley passing mountains and stunning landscapes as it goes. On arrival discover a cheerful terrace property on a quiet coastal street. Head inside to find two bedrooms on the first floor both of which boast traditional slate flooring. The first of these is a spacious double with space for two whilst the second room offers zip-and-link twin beds that can be made up as a king-size on request. Here you'll also find French doors out to the rear patio and sea views that are a joy to wake up to. Completing this floor is a modern bathroom with WC and wet room-style shower. Venture upstairs to find a sociable open-plan living space tucked under the eaves of the property. Benefiting from a high vaulted ceiling and original wooden beams this cheerful space offers an inviting place to unwind as day turns to night. The kitchen has been fitted with locally sourced slate work surfaces a hob oven fridge small frezzer and microwave as well as a dining set comfortably seating four. To the opposite of the kitchen is a spacious lounge space with a L-shaped sofa and TV/DVD. Assessable via the lounge is an elevated balcony with a bistro dining set and views out to sea along with steps to the rear enclosed patio which is connected to the twin bedroom. This space is a sheltered spot with the option of outdoor seating.
