Step outside and find Keswick's many wonders just moments away. Lovers of history will appreciate visiting the nearby Keswick Museum (0.5 miles) whilst younger visitors will no doubt relish a trip to the Derwent Pencil Museum and Puzzling Place (both 0.5 miles). Plenty of shops and cafes will fill your days in this charming market town whilst an evening at the Theatre by the Lake boasts culture and views of Derwentwater (1 mile). For fell walking further afield the nearby peaks of Skiddaw (5 miles) Helvellyn (8.5 miles) and Grisedale Park (5 miles) will satisfy both novice and expert walkers in your party. On arrival venture inside to find yourself in the open-plan living/dining room. This room is filled with light thanks to high ceilings freshly painted walls and a beautiful bay window whilst also decorated with a contemporary interior that's continued throughout the property. Sink into super-comfy sofas to enjoy the TV or throw a log or two on the wood burner on cold evenings. A modern fitted kitchen sits at the rear of the property fully equipped with an electric oven hob fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher and washer/dryer. Head up to the first floor to appreciate two bedrooms and a family bathroom. The bright bathroom has a WC bath and shower whilst the bedrooms are made up of a twin and double please note that although the twin is perfectly adequate for 2 adults it is rather small and therefore ideal for teenagers or children. Finally a third bedroom lies waiting on the second floor. Its elevated position offers views of the park and this double bedroom has an en-suite shower room with WC. A unique addition to this property is its private balcony. Boasting immediate views to the River Greta and Fitz Park this charming spot offers a great space for al fresco drinks or nibbles.
