Dating back to 1821 this delightful period cottage accommodates four guests and is situated a short level walk from the heart of Grasmere village just 4 miles from Ambleside. The village offers a variety of independent shops galleries and eateries including the famous gingerbread shop. You're free to enjoy the scenic walks around Grasmere Lake and Rydal Water explore the Wordsworth Daffodil Garden or embark on a ramble from your doorstep such as the trails up to Silver How and Loughrigg or over to Elterwater. A short drive to Ambleside provides additional shopping dining and pub options. Extend your adventures by visiting Lake Windermere 12 miles south where you can take a cruise on England's largest lake walk cycle or try various water sports. The charming market town of Keswick is 12 miles north. Unload your bags at the front door and step inside this delightfully renovated 19th-century cottage. The open-plan kitchen/dining room is truly the heart of the house and amply equipped with everything you need to dine in and entertain. Just off from here you can also find the utility room with a washer dryer and separate WC. On the same floor sits the enchanting lounge with plenty of seating for four. Evenings can be enjoyed cosied up in front of the wood burner whilst watching your favourite film. Up the staircase lies the first of the two bedrooms a delightful super-king size bedroom which makes use of the family bathroom complete with a tub-style bath and walk-in shower. The master bedroom is a spacious king-size with a stunningly tiled en-suite bathroom with shower over bath. Beautifully complimenting the interiors of this property is the cottage garden. Set into the side of the fell the garden is the perfect place to sit back and soak up the sunshine whilst lunch is enjoyed alfresco.
