Enjoy walks around beautiful Derwentwater or experience the magic of the Lake District from the water when you stay at this welcoming three-bedroom cottage at Portinscale. Up to five guests can stay at the property which also benefits from being just 2 miles from lively Keswick. Head into the market town to browse its independent shops choose between a range of eateries and even go to the cinema or the Theatre by the Lake. Book a cruise out on Derwentwater or choose to hire a boat yourselves from the marina close to the cottage. Embark on a range of walks from your front door including following the famous Coledale Horseshoe or climbing up to Catbells which captures picturesque far-reaching views. Descend the steps and let yourselves into this charming country cottage. The kitchen has everything you will need during your stay. There is an electric hob and oven microwave fridge/freezer dishwasher and washing machine. Make yourselves a cup of coffee and then wander on through into the lounge/diner next door. Light the wood burner in here on chilly days settle yourselves on the sofa and chairs and perhaps switch on the Smart TV and DVD. Gather at the table to enjoy your meals together play a hand of cards or plan the following day's activities. Follow the staircase up to the first floor to find your three bedrooms which include a double a single and a twin room. The bathroom is also found on the first floor and has a shower over the bath and WC. Spill outside into the courtyard garden whenever the sun is shining. Have breakfast lunch and dinner out here in the fresh air. There is parking for one car at the cottage. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1double, 1 twin and 1 single. 1 bathroom with shower over the bath and WC. Electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Wood burner (initial supply of logs). Smart TV and DVD. Towels not provided (can be provided for an extra charge). Small, paved area with table and chairs outside. Parking for 1 car. Pub and tearoom within 300 metres, shops 2 miles away.
