Keswick is a lively Lakeland town on the shore of the magnificent Derwentwater. The town is known as the Adventure Capital of England and popular activities include water sports climbing walking and boating. To the north are the fells of Blencathra (7 miles) and Skiddaw (5 miles) with Grisedale Pike to the west (5.5 miles).
