Located in the heart of Grasmere there is plenty to see and do from the doorstep. Visit Dove Cottage the former home of William Wordsworth before popping into the Grasmere Gingerbread Shop to sample this famous teatime treat. Don your walking boots for a scenic stroll around the lake or head to nearby White Moss Woods 1.5 miles away to explore the mystical Rydal Caves. For a low-level walk follow the historic Coffin Trail or head high to take on Helm Crag 1.5 miles away also known as the Lion and the Lamb. Meanwhile 4.5 miles away Ambleside is home to an array of pretty gift shops cosy bars popular restaurants and interesting galleries together with three cinemas for those rainy afternoons. Inside this property has been tastefully finished in a chic industrial style with natural tones slate flooring and cosy soft furnishings. The kitchen is light and traditional with plenty of surface and storage space. Here you will find an electric oven and hob fridge microwave coffee machine dishwasher and washer/dryer.
