Located in the pretty village of Rosthwaite in the stunning Borrowdale Valley the village is the starting point of many walks including over the fell to the hamlet of Watendlath. When walking to castle Crag the stepping stones are always fun to cross at drier times of the year. The Coast to Coast and Cumbria Way walks both pass through the village.
