The quaint ancient church of St Bega's is worth a visit and keep your eyes peeled for wildlife including osprey whilst visiting the lake. A 4.5-mile walk summit Dodd Fell for spectacular panoramic views and reward your efforts with a treat in the cafe. Mirehouse and Gardens is a lovely spot to spend a quiet morning or an afternoon and is just 2 miles from your door. Or visit the Lakes Distillery (3.5 miles) and stock up on your favourite tipple for a fun date night. If you fancy a date night out travel 6 miles to Keswick where a host of eateries and bars await. Head inside this charming barn conversion and ascend stairs to reach your home from home. Find yourself in the living space where the lounge diner and kitchen fit together and invite you to make yourselves at home. Choose a comfortable spot in the lounge area and unwind in front of the TV or put on your favourite DVD for a chilled evening in. Exposed beams add character and splashes of colour create a warm ambience. The kitchen area has an electric cooker fridge with freezer compartment and microwave so you can rustle up meals with ease throughout your stay. Dine together at the table and raise a glass to time spent in this fabulous location. End your day with a soak in the bath or freshen up in the shower in the bathroom with WC before heading to bed.
