The bedrooms consist of a double with electric fire and en-suite, and a twin, serviced by a ground-floor bathroom. Outside there is a front, multi-level garden with lawn, patio, furniture and a summerhouse, and a private driveway for one large car or two small cars. Two well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 1.2 miles, a pub in 2 miles, and River Lowther in 0.1 miles. For a charming base to Cumbria, book White House.
